Are Hot Cheetos good for you?

A casual day here in Maryvale is seeing kids walk around with a bag of hot Cheetos, but are they bad for you? Hot Cheetos contains little nutritional value and are not good for your health. Hot Cheetos are considered a bad diet choice due to the fact that they are high in fat and sodium and contain multiple artificial ingredients. Not only do hot Cheetos make you fat but also they make you grow red pimples. Hot Cheetos have an acid in them which makes the inside of your large intestine peel off, if you eat too many...

Should students be allowed to use their phones in class?

One of the reasons kids shouldn’t be allowed to use their phones in school is because they can simply cheat during a test or get distracted by text messages or any social network. But a good reason that kids should be allowed to have cellular devices is that they can act in case of an emergency. Students know they shouldn’t use their cell phones in school to play Angry Birds, or listen to music, or text their friend about the quiz they just took. Dogs shouldn’t be put down.

I feel like dogs shouldn’t be put down just for wandering around the streets or for being a little aggressive. They shouldn’t be killed right away. On the other hand, if a dog is trying to kill a human or biting you, I feel like that’s okay to put the dog down. Dogs are as important as humans, I feel like people wouldn’t like it if they...

Trump made a mistake with DACA

Donald Trump’s decisions to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, better known as DACA, comes after months of “will he or won’t he” speculation. The Obama program has protected more than 800,000 immigrants from deportation, many who define themselves as “dreamers”. Trump insisted that he would end DACA, but his stance has been less rigid since he became president. Today,  he did end it. This is a sad day for our country. The decision to end DACA is not just wrong. It is particularly cruel to offer young people the American Dream, encourage them to come out of the shadows and trust our government, and then punish them for it. The young people covered by DACA are our friends and neighbors. They contribute to our communities and to the economy. DACA deportation could cost US economy more than 400 billion. These are young people who were brought to this country by their parents and have never known anyplace else. Six months from today,  DACA recipients will start to lose their ability to work legally and will risk immediate deportation everyday. We don’t deserve to live in...
