The Yeezy hype all started when the rapper Kanye West made a collab with Adidas in 2015. He first came up with the “Yeezy boost 750” as  fashion shoes. After seeing his shoe design was really hyped and sold out everywhere he came up with the Yeezy boost 350  it came as the color “turtle dove.  ” Those shoes blew up the name Yeezy. Three other colorways (Black Pirate, Moonrock & Oxford Tan) of the 350 were released in the next couple of months. By the end of the month of October, Kanye had introduced a completely new and different model of Yeezys called Yeezy boost 950 Duckboot. Kanye also dropped the Duckboot in 3 different colorways: moon rock, pirate black, and peyote /chocolate. In 2016 Kanye released the Yeezy boost 350 v2s. These shoes are basically a new model of the original Yeezy boost 350 with a slightly change in the heel and the stripe but the design stays the same. Kanye has been releasing may pairs of the Yeezy boost 350 v2 and now are super hyped and expensive. The original price for Yeezys 350’s and v2’s was $220 but hype beast buys as many pairs as they can until they’re sold out and then they sell them for a large markup. Nowadays it’s almost impossible to get a pair of Yeezys for retail unless you camp at a shoe store a night before the release or you buy them online as soon as they drop. There are also many fakes and many people getting scammed on buying Yeezys thinking theyre real.
